Mohammadreza
Shooshtari

Director · Writer

Iranian filmmaker and screenwriter. His cinematic approach as director is defined by stillness, restrained performances, and a precise attention to visual composition. He is particularly attentive to the emotional undercurrents within everyday situations, allowing space for contemplation and ambiguity.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cinema from the University of Art in Tehran and a Master’s degree in Cinema from Soore University.

Chef’s Breakfast

“We live in a world where replacement has become a silent and normalized condition. Individuals disappear from social, professional, and emotional spaces, and systems quickly adapt as if nothing has changed.”
