Javad
Abdolahzade

Director

Iranian filmmaker and analog photographer, born in southern Iran and based in Tehran. His films explore fear, memory, death, and the fragile boundaries between reality and imagination — through fragmented narratives, visual correspondences, and the interplay of image and sound.

After studying philosophy at university for two semesters, he left academia to pursue filmmaking and began his studies in cinema.
